Represented Worldwide

Devon James is a Boston-bred DJ, producer, product specialist, event promoter, and record label owner whose deep love for dogs, disco, and a perfect slice of pizza is only matched by his devotion to music. A staple in the underground dance music community, Devon brings infectious energy, soulful grooves, and tireless passion to every set—whether he’s spinning under a disco ball or sharing crusts with a four-legged friend post-gig. Known for his versatility and boundary-pushing sound, he’s graced the decks alongside legends like Kerri Chandler, Honey Dijon, Derrick Carter, Moodymann, Kevin Saunderson, DJ Sneak, Mark Farina, Todd Terry, Kenny Dope, and Nicole Moudaber, as well as today’s heavyweights including Skrillex, Diplo, Chris Lake, The Blessed Madonna, Mija, Skream, DJ Seinfeld, Soul Clap, and Walker & Royce.

From cutting-edge venues in the US such as House of Yes, Elsewhere, Spybar, Discopussy, Sound, or The Councourse Project, to celebrated clubs and festivals around the world such as Pikes Ibiza, Pygmalion in Dublin, Kater Blau in Berlin, or NOA Beach Club in Croatia, Devon’s ability to connect with any crowd has cemented his status as a trusted tastemaker and dancefloor igniter.

His musical roots run deep, shaped by a family of musicians and formal training in classical and jazz guitar. This foundation informs his eclectic and seamless mixing style, weaving together house, disco, and techno with elements of rock, funk, soul, and indie. Every set and studio project is layered with intention and heart.

As a producer and engineer, Devon’s skills have been enlisted by the likes of Felix Da Housecat, Lee “Scratch” Perry, and Nile Rodgers. His contributions to Felix’s Thee Narrative of Thee Blast Illusion stand as a testament to his production chops, while his own releases have landed on labels like W&O Street Tracks, Reptile Dysfunction, Psycho Disco!, Founders of Filth, WeJack., and even Disney—showcasing his stylistic range and creative vision.

Devon is also the founder of RVDIOVCTIVE, a collective and record label that began as a series of renegade warehouse parties and has grown into a national brand known for its genre-bending lineups and community-driven ethos. With events spanning cities across the U.S., RVDIOVCTIVE continues to amplify diverse voices and challenge the status quo in dance music culture.

More than just a DJ or producer, Devon James is a connector—of people, of sounds, of good vibes and great nights. Whether behind the decks or behind the scenes, he moves with purpose, joy, and a deep-rooted love for music and the communities it builds.
