His sets are supported and celebrated by industry legends such as Tiësto, Keinemusik, Bob Sinclar, Bedouin, Mark Knight, and many more.

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, and raised in Miami, Florida, Markem started his career at just 15 years old as a club promoter in Miami’s buzzing nightlife. By 18, he had made his way into the DJ booth, quickly earning a name as one of the city’s hottest resident DJs. He became a fixture at legendary venues like Club Space, where he shared the stage with heavyweights like The Martinez Brothers, Nic Fanciulli, and Roger Sanchez.

Markem’s momentum quickly took him beyond local fame, booking performances across South America, North America, Europe, and Asia. His global appeal is rooted in a sound that seamlessly blends Latin grooves with cutting-edge house and afro / tech, making every set both unique and unforgettable.

In the studio, Markem has proven equally prolific. His 2010 debut “Party in Miami” spent three weeks in the Beatport Top 3, launching his name into the spotlight. In 2017, his collaboration with David Tort, “Strangers,” was signed by Tiësto’s AFTR:HRS imprint, spending nearly a year in the Beatport Top 100 and earning over 17 million streams on Spotify.

In 2023, Markem struck again with “Strangers (Do You Remember)”, a massive collaboration with Francis Mercier and David Tort, which dominated charts and surpassed 6 million streams on Spotify.

Markem is also the founder of HoTL Records and Inner Circle, two imprints that represent his musical vision and commitment to nurturing emerging talent. With these platforms, he continues to innovate and support the next wave of artists, driven by a belief that music should be free of boundaries.
